Scuba Diver:

After completing your ½ day Discover Scuba Diving course, you are only 1 day away from becoming a certified diver.

If time is short on your holiday and you want to become a certified then the Scuba Diver course is ideal.

Once you are certified you can enjoy diving under the watchful eye of a dive professional up to 12 metres.

If you wish to upgrade to become an Open Water Diver then you will only need to complete the remaining modules of the Open Water Course and be qualified to dive up to 18 metres with divers of your own level or higher.

Open Water Course:

This course allows you to dive anywhere in the world.

With easy theory, practice and 4 Open Water Dives you will learn all the skills needed to become a safe, confident diver.

Taking up to 4 days to complete this course can be run around your holiday schedule.

Our senior experienced instructors will help each step of the way to becoming an Open Water Diver

Advance Open Water Diver:

The Advanced Open Water Course is for divers who wish to take it to the next level.

Included in the course are 5 dives that can be run over 2 days and will expand your skill base and knowledge of diving.

By doing the Advanced Open Water Course new dive sites open up to you including the “Don Pedro and the “Fish Farm” of Formentera.

Obligatory dives in the course are;
  • Deep Diving
  • Navigation

With the option of 3 other divers which could include;

  • Peak Performance Buoyancy.
  • Photography.
  • Wreck Diving.
  • Night Diving.
  • Cave Diving.
  • Cavern Diving.
  • Boat Diving.

The Advanced Open Water diver course will teach you to become a well rounded diver as you continue to meet and overcome new skills and finish the course with a real sense of accomplishment.

Emergency First Response:

If you are looking to become a PADI Rescue Diver then you will need to complete this course. A course which teachers you necessary requirements needed to assist divers as well as general medical first aid.

This course is not only limited to divers as the course will enable you to help others in trouble whether in the sea or on land.

Rescue Diver:

To become a Rescue Diver you are preparing yourself to become somebody of responsibility.

A Rescue Diver is trained to notice potential problems before they happen as well being ready to help avoid any potential hazards not only in diving but everyday life.

Whilst doing this course you will learn to cope with all possible scenarios involved in diving.

Once you have achieved this certification then you are on the way to becoming a dive Professional.

Dive Master:

If you have ever wanted a career in diving then the PADI Dive Master course is the first step in becoming and Dive Professional.

Once you have reached this level of diver then you have an employable skill that can to you all around the world.

Dive Masters are an integral part of any dive operation.

As a Dive Master you can assist teaching diving as well as guiding.

Nitrox:
  • Diving with Nitrox allows you to dive for longer and have less residual Nitrogen in your system, so you don’t feel tied after a day of diving.
  • With longer bottom times and less risk, the future of diving is here.
  • With a Nitrox filling station on site Punta Dive can offer you FREE Nitrox once you are a certified Nitrox diver.
  • With a little bit of theory and 2 dives included in the course, Nitrox has never been so available to you.

Instructor Development Course:

Run 2 times a year with our own PADI Course director Matt Webster from Hidden Diving HYPERLINK “http://www.hidendivers.com” www.hidendivers.com . This course is both fun and educational and will leave you with a sense of accomplishment and pride.

The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor program is your final step in the quest to become a PADI Instructor. During the IDC, you’ll learn to use and adapt the PADI System of diver education to individual student needs. Comprehensive training, supported by a wide variety of PADI educational materials, earns PADI Instructors respect from both students and peers. PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors may conduct a broad range of PADI programs from Discover Scuba to Divemaster.

The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor rating sets you apart from the crowd. PADI Instructors may conduct the entire range of PADI programs – from Discover Scuba through Divemaster. 
PADI Instructors do things others can only daydream about.

What do I need to start?

PADI Assistant Instructor certification or be an instructor in good standing with another training organization for at least six months ( check with a PADI Course Director or PADI Office for qualifying credentials.) 
› Hold a dive certification for at least six months 
› Have 60 logged dives that include night, deep and navigation dives 
› Proof of CPR training within the last 24 months 
› Medical clearance signed by a physician

Be certified as an EFR Instructor

What will I do?

Knowledge development through self-study, quizzes, lectures and presentations 
› Confined water skill review and assessment, workshops and presentations 
› Open water workshops, rescue assessment and candidate presentations 
› Have at least 100 logged dives prior to entering a PADI Instructor Exam

How long will it take?

Times can vary from four days to three weeks or more
